Art statement:

I paint music. My expression is primarly on canvas, through images and colors. However, my art is just as much about music. Music plays a major role in my life. It always has. I dance. I sing. I play. In real life and when I´m painting.

My project now is focused on how to transform musical expressions such as rhythm, balance, and movement, into visual expressions of the same dimensions.

Additional motivation behind this project lies in the fact that both visual art and music has the power to communicate across borders, without words or languages. It is an universal way of communication that does not need the assistance of words to apply meaning. We need this univeral language because we are not only citizens of different countries – but habitants of the same world
